Aaron K. Briggs, PT, DPT, ECS, OCS, CMTPT
Aaron Briggs is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and is double board-certified in clinical electrophysiology and orthopaedic physical therapy. In recent years he has enthusiastically devoted his practice exclusively to electrodiagnostic testing, as area physicians have come to depend on his exemplary care for reliable and quick test results.
Aaron’s mission in clinical practice is to deliver superior and highly accessible electrodiagnostic testing to the communities he is privileged to serve. He prides himself on his meticulous attention to detail in each patient case, and on his role in informing the treatment of patients’ often complex and life-altering conditions. Having performed over 5,000 EMG/NCS studies, Aaron maintains professional service relationships with physicians in the specialty areas of orthopaedic surgery, neurosurgery, physiatry, neurology, pain medicine, podiatry, and more. He serves as a Clinical Electrophysiology Content Expert with the Specialization Academy of the American Physical Therapy Association. Further, he is a Certified Clinical Instructor and enjoys teaching and mentoring other healthcare professionals.
Aaron has been a dedicated and compassionate healthcare provider for nearly a decade. As a physical therapist, he brings a wealth of clinical experience across multiple healthcare settings including sports, acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, occupational medicine, skilled nursing, and more. In his early education and training, Aaron was fortunate to gain experience while providing care to the United States Air Force Combat Control, US Speedskating, USA Weightlifting, and USA Boxing Teams.
Prior to his career in healthcare, Aaron represented the United States and the New York Athletic Club as an International Greco Roman Wrestler and competed in the 2012 London Olympic Team Trials. When not caring for patients, he treasures time with his wife, their daughter, and their identical twin boys.
